09/30/2009: Thanks to everyone who came to the D'Arce Seminar. Over 40 people came and we were able to raise almost $1800 for the family of Mike Nemes.
Also, congratulations to Ramin, Joe and Rich for receiving their purple belts on Sunday!
09/10/2009: Joe D'Arce will be conducting a NO Gi seminar at the Vamos Jiu-Jitsu school in Holbrook on 9/27/09 from 11:00am-1:00pm. All the money will be donated to the family of Mike Nemes, a Southampton town Police officer who was killed in a jet ski accident while on vacation in North Carolina with his family. Mike did not have life insurance and the funeral cost the family over $15,000.
08/03/2009: Congratulations to Joe and Ramin who both competeted in the Naga this weekend. Joe got 1st place in the intermediate division and Ramin got 3rd in the advanced division and 3rd in the blue belt division.
Also, after years of hard work and dedication, Gregg DePasquale has the honor of being Joe D'Arce's first black belt! Huge Congrats Gregg!
04/08/2009: Congrats to everyone who competed at the NAGA this weekend. Our team took home five 1st place , three second place and five third place metals.
09/30/2008: Congrats James and Joe Funaro,
James won both his fights this weekend.
Friday he won by armbar and sunday he won by a high kick knockout.
Joe won his fight two weeks earlier by a high kick knockout!
Also, congrats to Kevin and Brett for getting 1st place at the Long Island Pride BJJ tournament.
